Prouction Planner

A requirement for a production planner to organise and schedule sheet metal manufacturing/production for large customer.

On a daily basis, the successful applicant will communicate with the rest of the team to schedule machinery, production and delivery dates.

The applicant will order all materials required for manufacturing from outsourced suppliers, and will also have the responsibility to negotiate the best available prices from our suppliers and sub-contractors.

The team currently consists of 5 planners, who report directly to the Operations Manager.

Applicants must have experience working to schedules, tight deadlines and supplier liaison.
Excellent communication is key as the role includes regular communication with the customer to update them on their manufacturing process and delivery dates.

Experience is preferable within the manufacturing / sheet metal industry.

Quality Inspector

A requirement for an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure all of our sheet metal parts and products comply with standards and customer requirements.

Applicant must have the ability to read engineering drawings and have an understanding of sheet metal manufacturing equipment.

Must conduct visual and measurement rests, rejecting and returning parts where unacceptable and document all inspection reports.

Communication is key to coordinate with colleagues to resolve any quality issues.

Experience within TS 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is preferable.

Operation of CMM is also preferable.

Working under shift pattern.

Tool Maker

An enthusiastic and experienced tool maker required to join our tool maintenance team in our in house domestic tool room.

Knowledge of tool making for progression, transfer and blanking tools is essential.

Must be able to work safely in a working engineering environment, and use initiative at all times.

Competitive rates of pay.

Shifts:

6am-2pm
2pm-10pm

Welding Robot Programmer

A requirement for an enthusiastic and experienced Robot Programmer to program robotic welding machines, suitable for complex assemblies.

Applicant must have the ability to read engineering drawings and operate machinery both efficiently and safely.

Experience with Fanuc robot welders is preferable.
