Jenks and Cattell Engineering Ltd, est 1886, are a leading supplier of sheet metal manufacturing and engineering and have a very impressive and diverse range of services and equipment to provide customers with a full engineering service.

With presses of 10 to 1000 tonnes, two laser machines cutting up to 20mm, and an impressive manual and robotic welding section, Jenks and Cattell Engineering can manufacture parts of both simple and intricate designs for a wide range of industries including automotive, white goods, off-highway and construction.

2015-2020 has an expectation of planned growth for the company, where customers will benefit from increased investment in machinery, automation and additional team members, as well as an additional shift.

Nick George, Sales Director, says:

“For our customers, lead times will be reduced dramatically as the laser fabrication is already automated for 24-7 production, and now we will be manufacturing metal parts, metal assemblies and metal components from 6am until 10pm, over two shifts.

It is a very exciting time for the company as we look to further diversify and expand our customer base.”

The double shift pattern will encourage Jenks and Cattell to become very proactive and responsive to all customers, with the ability to manufacture a larger quantity of parts in a quicker time frame.

The increased capacity has now taken effect, as of 10th August 2015.
