Caterpillar are one of Jenks & Cattell Engineerings longest customers, and have been supplying metal parts and assemblies to UK, European and South American sites for many years.
Caterpillar have an internal customer to supplier award to reward welding excellence, and Jenks & Cattell Engineering have been recognised to be in the top five welding suppliers worldwide, and have been certified to an industry acclaimed and recognised standard of, Caterpillar 7 Steps to Welding Excellence.
This is an award that is presented to fabrication companies, that comply with World Class welding techniques, and have embedded the necessary procedures and disciplines within their Quality system.

This award cements Jenks & Cattells continued journey in ensuring our MIG welding team and equipment is able to meet and exceed customer standards and expectations.
We are proud to be one of only five suppliers to Caterpillar Inc, that are certified to this standard within Europe.
Mr. Mark Hilliary, a key member of our MIG welding team accepted the plaque on our behalf, however our entire work force were present during this award presentation, as the entire Jenks & Cattell Engineering team collectively share in this achievement!
All of Jenks & Cattell Engineering welding team members, are now certified by to a Zurich approved Insurance standard and we have also attained weld procedure approvals across our entire range of robotic welding equipment, as well as obtaining our impressive in-house macro weld test facility.
